The time I need to prepare an order for shipping varies. For details, see individual items.
I'll do my best to meet these shipping estimates, but can't guarantee them. Actual delivery time will depend on the shipping method you choose.
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.
What Information I Collect:
In order to fulfill your order, you have provided me, through Etsy, with your name, postal address, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. You may also have provided me with additional personal information, including the name and address of a second party if your purchase was a gift, or names and information for a custom message or custom order.
Why I Need Your Information and How I Use It
I rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including:
as needed to provide my products, such as when I use your information to fulfil your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support;
when you have provided your affirmative consent, which you may revoke at any time, such as by sending you automated coupons or offers through Etsy;
if necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim, such as retaining information about your purchases if required by tax law; and
Information Sharing and Disclosure
Protecting your privacy is of the utmost concern to me. I only share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:
Shipping providers. I will share your personal information with third party shipping companies in order to deliver your order.
Compliance with laws. I may collect, use, retain, and share your information if I have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond to legal process or to government requests; (b) enforce my agreements, terms and policies; (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of my customers, or others.
Retention and Storage of Personal Data
All business records and transactions, including those that contain personal information, are stored and processed by Etsy and through a third-party hosting service in the US. As a result, if you live outside the U.S. I may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your home jurisdiction. I rely on Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer, as Google Cloud is Privacy Shield certified.
If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. I describe these rights below:
Access. You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information I hold about you by contacting me using the contact information below.
Change, restrict, delete. You may also have rights to change, restrict my use of, or delete your personal information. Absent exceptional circumstances (like where I am required to store data for legal reasons) I will generally delete your personal information upon request.
Object. You can object to receiving marketing messages from me after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless I have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about my use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
For purposes of EU data protection law, I, Rachelle Burnside, am the data controller of your personal information. If you have any questions or concerns, you may contact me at email@example.com.

Palm oil is now the most commonly used vegetable oil because of its versatility and usefulness. When combined with coconut oil, you get a firm, cleansing soap with big bubbles. However, the popularity of palm oil around the globe is a major driver of deforestation. When I can formulate a soap recipe without using palm oil, I do so. When I can't, I use palm oil purchased from a supplier that is a member of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil, a not-for-profit group that has developed a set of criteria for sustainable palm oil production. For more information about the RSPO, you can check out their website: https://rspo.org/about
Due to the nature of personal care products, I don't accept returns and exchanges. However, if you are unhappy with your purchase, please don't hesitate to contact me so I can work to resolve the issue.
The majority of products in the shop are vegan, and all are made with natural ingredients. The cold-process soaps and shampoo bars use no artificial detergents or surfactants, and are SLS-free. I use phthalate-free fragrances or essential oils in all products. Any necessary preservatives we use are paraben- and formaldehyde-free. Our shampoo bars are made with naturally derived ingredients that meet natural and organic cosmetic standards (Ecocert/COSMOS). We also strive to use as little plastic as possible. Almost all our packaging is paper, and all the filler material we use to protect products during shipping is re-purposed and reused.
